A venting confession, of sorts.
So, I deleted a post for...what might have been the first, if not one of the very few---times ever.
You'll notice it. The one on the Brasilian man shot in London.
I've been commenting on the situation on several people's sites...including a pissing match with a few obvious Brasilians/anti-Americanos.
And I just got to the point where I deleted the post both here (wk? or VAM) and at (wk? or VAM depending where you are reading this).
I have no idea why.
I guess I just don't feel quite right about it all. All I can say is that I have not felt the same since this happened.
Something just...I don't want to sound cliche and say "snapped..." but I guess that will have to do. I rarely get personal on this website but what else is blogging other than our feeble personal attempt to have a voice concerning the state of affairs in the world when no one else will shut up to listen?
I view such events in the world as the 7/7 and the Taliban recruiting innocent children under threat of violent coercion and foreigners getting shot for not obeying direct police orders and everything else with a different degree of compassion, disgust...anger...cynicism sometimes. Even complete indifference at other times.
Maybe I need to get back to basics and start viewing my blogging through the eyes of my faith, and learn to better understand and express my contempt for this wretched fallen world... for all the murderous pagan idoloters (ie: the members of the Religion of Peace&trade) who kill my countrymen and innocents throughout the world... and the remorseless child molesters among us who prey on defenseless purity and people who spit on our servicemen and women for dying to protect our freedoms and so many other things that I wish I could better understand without becoming jaded at the age of 22. Lord only knows if that will be that case, I suppose, but I sure hope not. Nevertheless, I think I need to reassess a few things here.
I feel ridiculous.
